Oodua Peoples Congress has condemned what it termed discriminatory arrests by the police following the ethnic clash between Hausa community and indigenes in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
In a statement signed by his founder, Dr. Frederick FasehuN, OPC argued that the information at its disposal indicated that the 20 suspects arrested and paraded by the police were mainly indigenes in Ile-Ife,.
The group therefore called on the state government to immediately establish a commission of enquiry to investigate the remote and immediate causes of the March 8 crisis.
