On the 24th of last month, the Supreme Court affirmed the dismissal of reverend Paul Emeka as the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God.
 
This was in response to the suit filed by Reverend Emeka challenging his dismissal and expulsion from the church.
 
But barely two weeks after the judgement, the Trustees of the Church claimed that it is still yet to take possession of the church.

In another development, the former Governor of Abia State Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday opposed the the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s submission of documents from defunct Manny Bank against him as exhibit.
