The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has in the meantime rejected the police panel report indicting the Rivers State Government.

The Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State Samuel Nwanosike is challenging the police panel to declare the identity of the INEC officials and the name of the government officials that allegedly offered them the bribe money.

The police had alleged that the state government gave over N111 million bribe to INEC offcials duirng the last rerun poll into the federal parliament.

Meanwhile the leadership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party is embarking on structural changes within the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.

This is coming as the party is set to abandon its controversial delegate system in the conduct of its congresses and national convention as recommended by Prof Jerry Gana.
