President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki has pledged that the senate, upon resumption will look into the crises that led to the recent wanton loss of lives and property in the Southern part of Kaduna State.
The Special Assistant on new media to the president of the senate, Bamikole Omishore, said the senate president is in touch with senators from that state.

Meanwhile,the Federal Government has not dropped the corruption charge it prepared against Supreme Court Justice, John Inyang Okoro, but was rather working to consolidate the charges against him and other suspects.
The Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, said the charges against them were being strengthened based on new evidence.
No fewer than seven judges of the Supreme, Federal and State High Courts were taken into custody on the night of October 7, 2016 and later granted bail by security agents over allegations of corruption.
