President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the militants destroying oil installations in the Niger Delta to come and sit down with his government to decide how the nation’s resources can be managed instead of picking up arms against their fatherland.

President Buhari was speaking when the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello and his team paid him a courtesy visit.

The president regretted that after  more than one year in office, his government has not been able to solve the problems he identified before winning the elections.

He appealed to citizens to be patient as results of government efforts will soon begin to show.
