President John Mahama has accepted defeat in Ghana’s presidential election. 
President Mahama called Nana Akufo Addo in a  telephone late on Friday. 
There were huge celebrations on the streets of Accra and several major towns following the concession. 

The electoral commission was meant to announce the results on saturday. 
Nana Akufo is scheduled to give a speech for his victory any time soon.
Meanwhile both the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS observer group and the commonwealth observer group have scored Wednesday's election high. 
Former presidents Amos Sawyer addressed the media on its interim report.
