Millions of Nigerians went into wild jubilation after the Super Eagles of Nigeria drubbed their Algerian counterpart 3-1 in the World Cup qualifying game played in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State this evening.

Two goals from Chelsea's forward, Victor Moses and a goal from the team captain Mikel Obi gave the fantastic Eagles the well deserved victory.

Nigeria dominated the game and would have had an early lead in the game when Moses tore the defence of the Algeria but his low shot could not find the back of the net.

However, his dribbling skill and pace threw him in the Algeria defence pack, that eventually cracked with a scintilating drive that beat the goalkeeper.

Mikel had a begging chance, which he evetually converted to maake it two. The Algeria took control of the game afterward and scored with a blinding shot outside the 18 yard box that caught Nigeria goalkeeper Akpeyi napping.

At extra time, Moses increase the lead for Nigeria with a low shot that beat the Algeria keeper.
