President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari, over the killing of over 36 persons at a gold mine in the state.

The meeting was held inside the president’s office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja and it lasted for about one hour.

Bandits had attacked Bindin village in the state and reportedly killed about 36 gold miners. 

The governor told state house correpsondent that his visit was basically on the killings.
