Indeed a pan-African event, it boasted of standing ovations on the stage performance for the Soweto Gospel Choir, Darey Art-Alade, Phyno.

No one could ignore the amazing perfomance given by Stanley Enow of Cameroon and the Ghana/Nigerian Jollof banter between Ali Baba and Stephanie Coker just before they presented the award for "Producer of the year".

"Every single day Nigeria loses over 2000 children to preventable disease and illness." This was just one of the many reasons why Waje and some other notable Nigerian entertainers like Basketmouth, Tolu Oniru, Desmond Elliot, Yemi Alade,Kate Henshaw, Ali Nuhu collaborated with AFRIMA on One.org's Make Naija Stronger campaign calling for improved health sector investments in Nigeria.

If Nigeria wants to attain its vision to become a leading world economy by 2020 health investments will be critical.
