President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met with governors under the auspices of the Progressive Governors Forum.
 
The brief meeting to which the governors were led by chairman of the Progressive Governors  Rochas Okorocha of Imo State lasted barely an hour.
 
Briefing newsmen at state house Abuja after the meeting Governor Okorocha accepted that the All Progressives Congress, was responsible for the current state of the economy.
 
Menwhile ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on theFederal Government to establish viable and active coastal shipping system linking it with other African countries.

He said this would boost economic growth which could help the nation get out of the current recession.
 
Obasanjo said this  when he received a delegation of the National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment led by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah.
