The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC is probing Ex-Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State, following his inability to account for billions of naira belonging to the state.
The state government petitioned the EFCC that it discovered financial discrepancies after studying the handover notes left by Jang.
A source alleged that under Jonah Jang as governor, N2 billion was released by the CBN for Small and Medium Scale  Businesses in Plateau State, a month before the expiration of his administration but there’s no trace or evidence that SMES in Plateau state benefited from the fund.

Jang is presently a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. There are about four other former state executives that the anti-graft agencies have penciled down to probe.
