Scores of protesters from Oraukwu Community, in Idemili North lga of Anambra State, thronged to the seat of power in Awka protesting alleged move by the state government to swear-in one  Emeka Onuorah as the new Igwe of the community.
They called on the State Governor, Willie Obiano to refrain from swearing-in a candidate who does not possess the requisite quality and votes enshrined in their constitution for the nomination of Igwe of the community.
The villagers urged the state government to institute a panel of inquiry to investigate the true situation on the kingship tussle and provide them with a candidate whose mandate will be acceptable to all the six villages that make up the community.

The protesters carried placards with various inscriptions such as, "We don't want Emeka Onuorah, Don't swear-in Onuorah, Onuorah cannot be our Igwe."
