The re-run elections in Oru East, Isiala Mbano state constituencies and Okigwe North Senatorial Constituency in Imo State have been declared inconclusive.
 
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Nasir Ayilara, said the returning officer who earlier announced the APC candidate as winner said he was put under duress to make the declaration against his wish.
 
The REC also said the Isiala Mbano state constituency election was inconclusive following the problem of over voting.
 
The APC candidate for Owerri constituency election has been declared winner while the Imo North Senatorial District election was inconclusive.

Meanwhile, the Imo State Police Command has cautioned politicians in the state and their supporters to maintain the existing peace  following the declaration of results of Saturday’s rerun election in Imo North senatorial district.
 
The Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu told STV news in Okigwe that whoever is aggrieved over the outcome of the rerun election should employ legitimate means to seek redress in court.
