Folarin Falana, aka Falzthebahdguy is set to launch the album, “Stories That Touch” on Wednesday 18, 2015 at Route, Victoria Island, Lagos. The Hip-Hop artiste was a guest at Silverbird Television on Wednesday where he shed light on the sparkling sticker that features such names as Oyinkansola, Reminisce, Yemi Alade, Show Dem Camp, Simi, Reekado Banks, M.I and others.
Asked why “Stories that touch”, Falz simply describes it as a bunch of songs that have different meanings and different themes. Songs that he feels people can relate to, hence the title ‘Stories that touch’.
“So when you listen to it, it will touch you somewhere inside there. Stories that touch…. because my album is not necessarily an album with one particular theme or one straight topic,” he noted.
To him, music is an international language and to make it so, a good music ought to grasp the mix and flavour of peoples’ culture. “Yes, we need to mix it up, if you are a person out there that likes a certain genre of music then,
“Stories that touch” is there for you. There’s Hip hop and mix of afro-beats; there is highlife that we mix up. There’s even something with a Fuji background, my music is for everybody because we need to cut across.
No doubt, ‘Stories That Touch’ is occupying a prominent position on iTunes above Justin Bieber and Adele.
