Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has died at the age of 67 after a prolonged illness.
Akeredolu was said to have died at early hours of Wednesday at a German hospital where he was receiving treatment.
According to reports, he died of leukemia and prostate cancer. Akeredolu was returned to Nigeria in September after embarking on a three-month medical leave in Germany.
Meanwhile no official statement have been released yet.
