The Afrobeats music festival, Afro Nation which occurred on Sat, 17 Aug 2024 – Sun, 18 Aug 2024 in Detroit, USA has taken another dimension.
Nigerian music stars Ayra Starr, Rema, Kizz Daniel, Adekunle Gold, and Asake entertained thousands of fans at the sold-out event.
Talented female artiste, Ayra Starr, sang with performance from her hit singles and songs from her new album ‘The Year I Turned 21’. At the same time, Adekunle Gold and Kizz Daniel made the show more interesting with a collection of their hit singles at the festival which became a major player in the global exportation of Afrobeats.
Rema continued with a performance of several of his hit singles including songs from his recently released sophomore album ‘HEIS’.
Rave of the moment Asake also dazzled and also treated fans to a performance of his chart-topping records including songs from his just-released third album ‘Lungu Boy’.
Other renowned artistes in attendance at the Afro Nation Detroit are Jamaican singer Shenseea, Detroit rapper Kashdoll, and Grammy-winning superstar Lil Wayne who headlined the second date.
No doubt, Afrobeats enjoys international success with Nigerian superstars winning notable awards, collaborating with global stars, and headlining iconic festivals and concerts.
