A consistent fan of Manchester City football club lost his life on his way to the Emirates Stadium to watch his favourite club play Arsenal.
This development and tragic incident was revealed by the club on social media.
To show some level of concern about his death, City fans have been paying their tributes to him and sending their wishes to his family.
The club also displayed some level of heartfelt concern about the situation by sending its ‘sincere condolences’.
For some reasons, the identity of the supporter was concealed, and further details has been released formerly by the club.
In the course of the match, Raheem Sterling’s strike saw off Arsenal in the Premier League after two goals by Kevin de Bruyne and a City’s tweet was posted.
It was confirmed by the club that, the club confirmed the fan passed away ‘on his way to attending the game at Arsenal’.
The announcement was made on Twitter by the club, stating that: “Manchester City wishes to express its sincere condolences to the family and friends of a long-time City supporter who passed away today on his way to attending the game at Arsenal.
“The thoughts of all at the club are with the family and loved ones at this very sad time.”

Surprisingly, best wishes posts in response to the club’s tweet, from fans attracted more than 600 comments.
