The coach of Arsenal Football Club, Unai Emery has been sacked
Former player and assistant Freddie Ljungberg, has taken over as the temporary coach of the club.
The former Arsenal midfielder has also been a current member of the club’s backroom staff.
The reason for this new development occurred after Arsenal lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt during their Uefa Europa League match on Thursday night.
The game which has been recorded as the seventh straight game without a win, resulted into a low attendance estimated to be just 25,000, their lowest ever for a competitive game since moving to the Emirates Stadium in 2006.
After the abysmal record of just two wins in 11 games in the Premier League, the club management are afraid to leave the situation the way it is because they may lose key players.
According to the daily mail, hiring Swede may help boost moral at the club and improve performances.
