As result of the disappointing performance in the match between Arsenal and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League which ended 2-1, Arsenal fans are not happy as the stadium was empty during the home loss match.
Arsenal coach Unai Emery is seriously seen in the picture of the situation as the fans have reacted in annoyance by sending him and the board a clear message yesterday evening.
Despite all the recent disappointing results, Emery claimed ahead of the game that all players and backroom staff support him.
In his words, he said, “I feel the club, everyone responsible in that area is backing me. Really I appreciate it a lot.”
So far, one obvious evidence to show that the fans and others in the club are not happy is the empty seats in the stadium, and the bad results from the qualification for the Europa League knockout stages.
Another bad situation is the drop in sales of tickets, which dropped from the official figure of 49,419 in which the number of seat became as low as half that figure.
Initially, Arsenal enjoyed relatively strong crowds in the Europa League, with 60,195 tickets sold for their match against Vitoria Guimaraes and 58,725 for Standard Liege.
