Super Eagles head Gernot Rohr has revealed that the buyout clause in his contract which expires mid-June 2020 isn’t $1m as being bandied in the media.
Rohr, however, didn’t disclose the figure but hinted it was far below $1m.
Rohr further stated that before the just concluded AFCON 2019 in Egypt, his target was to win the trophy but he was happy that he returned to Nigeria with the bronze medal after 3 years as head coach.
Rohr was also commended by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for meeting the target set for him.
Nigeria defeated Tunisia to win the bronze courtesy of an Odion Ighalo in the early minutes.
