Former Super Eagles captain, Segun Odegbami has advised the coach of the national senior football team Gernot Rohr to resign after the third place match against Tunisia at the ongoing African Cup of Nation.

He said that the super eagles played badly against the Algeria during the semi final match and never deserved to win the match or AFCON.

According to Odegbami, the German tactician cannot handle a team like Super Eagles anymore, urging him to leave immediately.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick had said that the body had no intention of sacking Rohr.

Rohr has also said that he would consider his future after the third place game against Tunisia later this evening.
