The Nigeria Football Federation say the pay dispute with the Super Eagles which saw the team boycott yesterday’s mandatory pre-match press conference has been resolved.

Spokesman of the Federation confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that funds needed for the payment of most of the outstanding bonuses be transferred to Egypt.

The Super Eagle player representative boycotted the mandatory pre-match press conference held at the Alexandria Stadium on Tuesday morning ahead of their second group match at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea.

The Super Eagles players were having an in-house meeting as the press conference was ongoing.
