Twenty Five people have been confirmed killed in an early Monday attack in ” KUDA KAYA” village in Madagali local government area of Adamawa State.
” KUDA KAYA” about 7 kilometers away from Madagali main town is said to have been raided by Boko Haram insurgents at around 5 am in an attack that lasted 5 hours.

When contacted, the Police public relations officer, Adamawa Police Command SP Othman Abubakar confirmed the attack and the casualty rate and explained that already, the Military has restored calmness in the area.
Madagali which is the home local government of the Governor – elect of the State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been the worst hit by Boko Haram activities in the state since the emergence of insurgents in the Northeast Nigeria about 10 years ago.
