Paris Saint Germain Football Star Neymar, has denied rumours that he has interest in joining arch –rivals Real Madrid.
The Brazilian forward joined PSG from Barca in 2017 on a contract that runs until 2022.
But the 27-year-old has made no secret of the attraction of joining Real in the future.
Speaking in an interview in his native Brazil, Neymar tackled the transfer rumours, Marca reports
He said: “If I want to play for Madrid?
They are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Any player linked with Real Madrid would feel attracted to play there.”
The Brazilian said: “For the love of God, I am not speaking about playing for Madrid, calm down. I feel happy in Paris, I am very well here but, in the future, nobody knows.
“It is obvious that Real Madrid are a great team, one of the best in the world, I have great respect for them but, today, I see myself in Paris.”
Neymar is currently out of action with a broken metatarsal, meaning he’ll miss this week’s Champions League clash with Manchester United
But Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful Edinson Cavani will be able to play some part in the vital match.
Striker Cavani suffered a hip injury in a Ligue 1 fixture against Bordeaux on February 9 and has yet to return to full training.
But boss Thomas Tuchel expects the Uruguayan to join in with the first team session on Monday, according to TF1, but it is unlikely he will be able to start against United on Wednesday night.
