Former Real Madrid football coach  Zinedine Zidane, is now the favourite to replace Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea manager.

The Italian gaffer is still actually in charge at Stamford Bridge following his side’s heavy 6-0 defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.

But the pressure is on due to that result and the recent 4-0 beating from Bournemouth in the Premier League.

All doesn’t seem well at the Blues and that’s led to a lot of speculation around the former Napoli coach’s future.

And now talk will intensify with Zidane leading the way in the bookmakers betting.

Via oddschecker.com, the former Real Madrid is now favourite to replace Sarri at odds of 13/8.

Sarri only took over at Chelsea in the summer, managing 40 games so far, winning 26, drawing six and losing eight.

They currently sit sixth in the Premier League table and that’s definitely contributing to the speculation around Sarri’s future too.

As for Zidane, he’s been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in the summer.

The French manager won three straight Champions League trophies in his time with the Spanish giants and left with his reputation as one of the world’s best managers firmly intact.
