Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that his team will miss four key players in their Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup Nations qualifier against South Africa, but is banking on the newIy invited players to fill the voids.

Rohr will be without injured trio of Abdulahi Shehu, Francis Uzoho, Odion Ighalo while Wilfred Ndidi is suspended for the game due to two yellow cards.

He expects Villarreal’s winger Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Theophilus Afelokhai and Mikel Agu to fill the voids.

The German tactician also believes his young team has evolved well from their matchday-1 defeat at home to South Africa in Uyo 17 months ago.

The Super Eagles squad is expected to fly out of the country from Benin Edo State later today (Thursday) aboard a charter Air Max to Johannesburg.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles need a point to secure a berth in the 2019 AFCON tournament in Cameroon next summer.
