The Super Eagles will be showcasing Nigeria’s deep cultural heritage when they arrive in Russia.

All the 23 players, the technical crew and members of the backroom staff will wear complete native attires when they leave the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria for Russia on June 11.

It was gathered that the traditional dresses were initially meant for May 30 when President Muhammad Buhari hosted the team at Aso Rock before they left for London.

But the team had to wear their Nike shirts and tracksuits because the tailors were unable to meet the deadline for the presidential visit.

Just yesterday, the massive consignment containing the attires being wheeled into the Avita Resort camp of the Eagles.

The idea to appear in traditional Nigerian attires will no doubt make the team look unique since most teams coming to Russia may likely appear in suits.
