Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United this summer and is waiting on the Red Devils to agree a fee with the La Liga giants.
Morata, 24, wants regular first team football next season to ensure his place in Spain’s World Cup squad in 2018.
The Spaniard managed to score 20 goals last term despite being second choice to Karim Benzema but now believes he needs to leave the Bernabeu to benefit his career.
The Red Devils have made signing Morata a priority in the last fortnight since cooling interest in Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann and had an initial £52m bid rejected for the striker.
However, according to the Telegraph, Morata is set on moving to Old Trafford and has told friends he’s agreed terms with the club.
All that’s left now is for United to agree on a deal with Madrid and Mourinho’s side are confident they can talk Los Blancos down from their £78m valuation.
