Oyo State Commissioner of Police Shina Olukolu on Sunday warned criminal elements to relocate from the State or be crushed.

Olukolu says the command will not allow  criminal gangs who are bent on disturbing the relative peace and tranquility being enjoyed in the state to ply their trade.

In a release by the Police Public relations Officer SP Gbenga Fadeyi, the CP thanked hunters, traditional ruler and community leaders in Igbo-ora who worked with the police to secure the release of the ASUP chairman and four others abducted last Thursday.

Olukolu however alerted the public to the possibility of increase in crime rate as the Yuletide season approaches.

He reiterated the Command’s resolve to continue to rejig its security architecture for maximum protection of lives and property of the good people of Oyo State.

The Police Boss appealed to the people to continue to support, cooperate, assist and synergise with the Police particularly on the issue of timely credible information to enable the Police serve the people better.
