Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Shina Olukolu on Monday warned residents of the state to be conscious of their environment to reduce crime victimisation.
Olukolu stated this while parading 33 suspected criminals at the command headquarters Eleyele.
The paraded included 13-student cultists who claimed studentship of Oke-Ogun polytechnic, Landmark University, University of Ibadan, and National Open University and were arrested while planning initiation of other students.
According to the police boss, an ammunition dealer Salami Gafaru was arrested in Saki with 750 live catridges while another 2,750 live catridges were recovered from an unregistered vehicle in Ibadan.
Others paraded were armed robbers and kidnappers
CP Olukolu stated that the arrests were made possible through the revamped community and intelligent led policing and the recently launched Operation Puff Adder.
