Following the spate of killings and kidnappings happening in the country, the acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu will appear before the Senate next week Tuesday by 11am.

The Senate had on Thursday last week, resolved to invite the acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to brief the Red chamber but this did not take place this week as the senate adjourned till next week due to the Workers day celebration.

The lawmakers want to know what the police are doing to stem the increasing state of insecurity in the country.
