Ogun state police command is talking tough on alleged plans of the dreaded cult group popularly called Badoo, to infiltrate the state.
The command says it is battle ready to rid the state of all suspected cult groups.
The state Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu made this known while parading 37 suspects arrested for various crimes ranging from cultism, kidnapping and armed robbery.
Meanwhile, there was a heavy battle between the Nigerian Army and militants at Calabar, the Cross River State capital, over attempt to kidnap an oil magnate.
Suspected militants were reported to have entered the area from one of the creeks to kidnap the oil dealer which was resisted by the military.
Several gun shots between the soldiers and the kidnappers led the residents to scamper to safety.
