Armed robbers suspected to be Fulani herdsmen today attacked travellers on the ever-busy Abuja-Keffi Expressway, carting away mobile phones and money from them.
The robbery took place at about 10 am on the expressway close to a village called Barde, after Gidan Waya in Kaduna State, a few kilometres from Jos, Plateau State Capital.
The robbers numbering about 10, laid an ambush and attacked passengers.
In another development, the National Emergency Management Agency has disclosed that another batch of 250 Nigerians would voluntarily return to the country from Libya tomorrow.
The spokesman of the agency Ibrahim Farinloye said that the returnees were expected to arrive at the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company/Hajj camp section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 3pm.
