Six persons have been killed in suicide attacks in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Reports say the attacks occurred at about 1:15 a-m yesterday.
The State Commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu confirmed the incident.
He said the attacks were carried out by four teenage girls who had explosive devices strapped on them.
In another development, the people of Ozuitem Community of Abia State have once again been hit by the Fulani herdsmen some months after an earlier attack on the community.
This time the people of Umuobasiukwu in Ozuitem had a clash with the herdsmen after they led their cattle to destroy crops on their farmlands.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Leye Oyebade confirmed the incident, but said the situation was under control.
