The Federal Government has dubbed the latest report of Amnesty International as lacking conformity to standards.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement by its spokesperson, Clement Aduku said the report failed to condemned the terrorist groups in Nigeria.
Mister Aduku also said Amnesty International failed to subject its report process to wide consultations and engagement.
The federal government also said it will not condone the lack of regard for constituted authority by any unlawful groups.
Meanwhile the Security Council Visiting Mission to the Lake Chad Basin Region has arrived in Nigeria.
It is due to visit Maiduguri, Borno State, it will meet with the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
The delegation is also due to meet northeast stakeholders in Maiduguri.
The mission to Nigeria is aimed at enabling the UN body to get first-hand information on the various issues affecting the country.
