The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has deployed no fewer than 2,500 personnel to maintain law and order throughout the Easter period in the state.

The command made this disclosure in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Oluwole Olusegun.

He assured residents of the state adequate security during and after the Easter celebrations.

The Statement quoted the commandant Dr John Adewoye as directing all Unit heads to be on guard and ensure a crime-free period.
