The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has ruled that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no candidate for the Saturday governorship election in the state.

The Federal High Court, Yenagoa, case was initiated by Former Minister, Heniken Lokpobiri, one of the APC Gov aspirants who insisted he won the primaries.

A former Minister of State for Agriculture, Lokpobiri, had approached the court, seeking a declaration, that he, and not David Lyon is the authentic candidate of the APC.

Justice Jane Inyang today pronounced that the governorship primary conducted by the APC in Bayelsa state was not done in compliance with the guidelines and the constitution of the party, and, therefore, the party has no candidate.

This is different from yesterday’s ruling which disqualified the running mate of the APC Gov Candidate
