The National Assembly on Tuesday recorded heavy security presence ahead of legislative sitting.

As at 7am, men of the Nigeria Police force, Department of state services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps among others barricaded entrance to the complex to forestall in breakdown of law and order

This is coming a day after the Parliamentary Staff Association commenced its four day warning strike to press home their demand on the payment of their allowances from two thousand and ten to date.

Our Correspondent reports that as at the time of filing in this reports that members of the association were denied entrance to the complex while legislative aides were asked to identify themselves before gaining entrance.

Others who do not have business within the premises were turned back from the gate.

However the complex recorded minimal services as a result of the latest development.

Meanwhile public utilities such as electricity and water are currently working as against the situation on ground as at on Monday.
