President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki has said that his visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo was to make up for the inauguration of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, which he could not attend last year.

He said that the the meeting was not connected with the plan by some senators to impeach him as being speculated in some quarters.

Saraki was at the Obasanjo’s pent house inside the library where he spent about one and a half hours, discussing with the former resident.

The meeting started at about 6pm and lasted till 7:30pm on Monday.
