The Acting Director General of the Department of State service Matthew Seifa says the service will hence forth redouble it’s effort in intelligence gathering and analysis.
He made this known on Thursday while addressing the media on the services core mandate in protecting National Unity.
He expressed concern over the level of poor partnership amongst agencies in the management of security and promsed to strengthen relationship.
On the issue of his relationship with anti graft agency, he said the service will review the situation and come up with new ways of working together
His briefing is coming days after the sack of the former Director General Lawal Daura.
