President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the Kingdom of Morocco on a two
day working visit to the North African kingdom.

The President arrived the country at about five thirty five pm local time on Sunday evening and was received by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, at
the nation’s international airport.

The visit, which is at the invitation of King Mohammed VI, will see the two
leaders discuss socio-economic matters affecting their countries, following prior agreements in December twenty sixteen, during the official visit
of the King to Nigeria.

Following the signing of a collaboration agreement between both countries during that visit, fourteen abandoned Nigerian fertilizer blending plants have been revitalized so far under the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative

Discussions are therefore expected to focus on strengthening existing
agreements on the fertilizer industry, and education cooperation.

The leaders will also deliberate on the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline project
and establishing a basic chemical platform to harness Nigeria’s vast natural gas resources while supporting Morocco’s diammonium phosphate
industry.

During the visit, President Buhari and King Mohammed VI witness Joint declaration of Nigeria and Morocco on the proposed gas pipeline to Connect Nigerians gas resources to West African countries and to Morocco signed by Mr Farouq Said Group General Manager NNPC and Mrs Amina Benkhadra Moroccan Minister of Energy
