Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has called on the All Progressives Congress to adopt the manifestos of the winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, late Chief MKO Abiola.

He said this when the family of the late politician paid him a thank you visit at his Bourdillon home, Ikoyi Lagos, adding that the best way to immortalise Abiola is to adopt his manifesto.

The MKO Abiola manifesto was titled “Farewell To Poverty” and according to Tinubu who himself is a stalwart of APC, there is need to adopt the manifesto.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for declaring June 12 as Democracy Day, saying the injustice of the past had just been reversed.
