Former Governor of Edo State, Mr. Adams Oshiomole has concluded arrangement to declare his bid for the national chairmanship of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Thursday.
The seat, presently being occupied by Chief John Odigie-Oyegun becomes vacant at the party’s national congress to be held soon.
Oshiomhole spoke at a news conference on Wednesday, adding that he would do the public declaration at the TRANSCORP Hilton this morning.
The former governor said that he had gathered the supports of prominent members of the party, some of whom were former governors.
Among those he mentioned were the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
