One of the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship aspirants for today’s primary in Ekiti State, a serving Senator/Deputy Minority Whip and one-time Governor Ayo Fayose’s Deputy Governor, Biodun Olujimi has stepped down for Dayo Adeyeye, a former Minister/ former PDP National Publicity Secretary.

The race is open between Prof Kolapo Olusola, the incumbent Deputy Governor and Adeyeye as delegates continue to vote.

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa is leading the Ekiti Governorship Primary Committee from the PDP National Secretariat to oversee the exercise.

The total delegates are 2096 out which 1966 have been accredited.
