Mr. Omoyele Sowore, founder of the popular online medium, Sahara Reporters has said that he has no connection with former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Tinubu as being peddling around.
He said he met Tinubu once in his life and that was in 1992 when the APC national leader was canvassing for votes alongside his ally, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
He denied the story that Tinubu ever sponsored the Sahara Reporters in a video he displayed via his facebook page, “Sowore 2019.
Sowore said he was not in Nigeria when Tinubu became governor in 1999 and never met or discussed any issue with him except that he had written some scandalous stories about the politician.
He said that Tinubu was among the politicians he would be dislodging from Nigeria’s political space because the politicians contributed immensely to the problems facing Nigeria at present.
He said that he had never taken bribe from any politician, adding, “That is why they cannot allege me of any corruption. “
