A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described the continuous killings by herdsmen in some parts of Nigeria as a symptom of anarchy.

He took to his twitter handle early this morning stating that the country is experiencing waht he describes as state of anomie.

He tweets, “Anomie exists in Nigeria. Anarchy is unfolding. If the Fulani terrorists are not stopped or if they do not desist from their barbaric agenda of ethnic cleansing, mass murder and genocide we are heading for a civil war that will make the first look like child’s play.”

In his second tweets, Fani-Kayode said, “Benue youths have killed 27 Hausa Fulani Muslims and burnt down two mosques in a retaliatory attack in Makurdi following the killing of Christian worshipers in Benue state according to the BBC. When @MBuhari refuses to protect the people they will protect themselves…”

This came hours that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo lamented over the increasing persecution of Christians in the land.

Osinbajo spoke at the Deeper Life Bible Church programme about two days ago, urging Christians not to relax but to fight on to the glorious end.
