Prince Uche Secondus has emerged the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party at the Saturday national convention.

He beat two other contestants, Professor Tunde Adediran and Chief Raymond Dokpesi in the polls.

Secondus polled 2000 votes while Adeniran polled 230 and Dokpesi polled 66.

However, the losers had protested the results of the election as they argued that there were fake delegates that voted at the convention.
