Former Chairman of the Presidential Task Team on Pension Reform, Abdulrasheed Maina said on Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari approved his meeting with the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

This was revealed in a video he submitted to Channel Television for public view, adding that Malami acted on the approval of the president to discuss with him.

He disclosed that he actually helped Buhari’s government to recover about N1.3 looted funds and that he could help to recover another N3 trillion, only if the president could grant him immunity to testify before the National Assembly without being arrested by the anti-graft agency.

Maina was sacked from the civil service recently, following his scandalous reinstatement.
