The Southwest zone of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is set to hold its reconciliation meeting today and tomorrow in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

This was contained in a notice by the Secretary, PDP Southwest Reconciliation Committee, Eddy Olafeso.

The meeting which is scheduled to hold at the Ekiti State Government House, in Ado- Ekiti, is expected to be presided over by the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

In the meantime, the Southwest zonal Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has filed a suit before a Federal High Court in Abuja seeking an order for the nullification of 75th NEC meeting of the party at the special non-elective national convention held last Saturday.

The suit was filed in the court on behalf of the EXCO members by its zonal secretary.

The suit has the INEC, the PDP, Senator Ahmed Makarfi and Senator Ben Obi, as well as the Inspector General of Police as defendants.

The plaintiff further informed the court that the party disobeyed an order of interim injunction restraining the PDP from recognizing another executive, other than the Makanjuola Ogundipe led zonal excos.
