Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has refuted media reports linking him to a statement that those agitating for restructuring were political jobbers.
The acting president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande said Ayo Adebanjo reportedly connected the acting president to the assertion.
The presidential spokesman stated that at no time did the acting president say that those asking for restructuring were political jobbers looking for appointments.
He said: the video, audio tapes and full text of his speech at the National Security Summit organised last week by the Department of State Services are publicly available.
In another development, the former President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed shock over the killings of 12 worshippers at St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Anambra State on Sunday.
Also, the leadership of Ohanaeze,the umbrella socio-political organisation of Ndigbo, described as despicable and horrendous, the massacre of innocent worshippers at the church.
The church attack claimed no fewer than 12 lives .40 others were injured.
